Luna County Experience - continuation from Home Page
For those who desire to reside in Luna County, New Mexico it will definitely be an unexpected experience unless you come from Texas or Arizona, and possibly even Colorado. They too have had their share of experiences with corruption, corrupt politicians and the various law enforcement agencies; all of which grows exponentially in these present times especially here in Luna County, sometimes referred to as being "Looney County".
The Village of Columbus, New Mexico is just one of the many local villages, towns and burgs in Luna County where corruption runs more rampant with little to no justice because, as has been alleged in the past, the corruption runs deep. It is un-noticeable when first coming here. But, with time, little things begin to show forth that sets the tone and temper of what has been and is continually on-going.
Not only are the "ethnic" attitudes at issue, but also are "religious" ones as well which bleed over into the local school system. This is also true for the City of Deming which is for another time to post.
The local Magistrate Court Judge is, for all outward appearances, an honorable man. But the one to look at is the one who sits in for the Magistrate Court Judge. There exists the rub. For he is not only opinionated but is a user and abuser of what appears on the surface as a friend! His "friendship" is on his terms and you had better be one of the "Good Ole Boys" because his self-centered, self-righteous prejudice and bigotry is a form of corruption that does not embrace those things that were once held as being "Constitutional" no matter how loud he may claim to be a strong upholder of Constitutional liberties. He is, it appears, to be a strong upholder of his own personal agenda that discriminates and violates even truth including, it has been alleged, discriminatory against some "Catholics" be they Orthodox Catholic Christians and those of the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church! According to some sources, this is a man who should never have been appointed to fill in for the Magistrate Court Judge because of his prejudices and bigoted attitudes! If you hold a yard sale and he should buy but gives only a partial payment... It has been alleged and said that one should not sell to him because you may find it more difficult to obtain the balance owed for months and months on end! Why? It is alleged or opined that he weighs his paying the balance on your own friendships with others, for if you do not have those whom he approves of, you can forget the balance he owes! He'll even change his own phone number or have it disconnected altogether! It is opined that his daughter, works in the Mayor's office resides with him... The mayor being one of those who is highly distinguished, but only by those who fear him and therefore in order to maintain a degree of peace for yourself, will vote for him even though you may not want to, more especially if he holds connections with those whom you may work for as it has been said you could loose your job in the end, even if working for a private firm or business! "Yes," said another individual, "The fill-in Magistrate Court Judge is all about himself! He," it was also alleged, "is very prejudiced, highly educated by the military, but very opinionated and will go out of his way to avoid paying his personal debts to people whom he doesn't like when he finds they have friendships with those whom he doesn't approve of." and "For a fill-in Magistrate Court Judge, its odd that they would pick and appoint a person who has already made up his mind about a person or people before they come into court. I thought judges are supposed to be fair minded. If lady justice is blind and the judges are supposed to be blind in their applying law, knowing that for every law there are two to break it; this man will apply the law that will cause the most pain and damage to those who he has already made up his mind about due to his bigoted and prejudiced 'good ole boy' politics and personal agenda!"
The main Magistrate Court Judge, as further alleged, is considered to be a most honorable individual. Yet, being married to a former Mayor and owner of the Skinner Furniture Factory whose son, it has been said, is running for a high position seat in government; doesn't necessarily make him or his wife an enviable family. The owner who also owned the "Skinner Realty" is supposedly now retired, but still has so much 'pull' in the operations of the Village of Columbus that her politics is alleged to be back-biting, unchristian; and even, it has been opined, un-christian and another believes, anti-christian!
Such people often believe themselves to be "Born Again Christians" which is an oxymoron word and phrase invented by cultic christians who have no link with the truth of being Christian, it is further alleged. They are not "Born Again" for you can only be born to Christ once and once only! And that kind of baptism to re-do is a blasphemy against the Holy Spirit! Yet they consider themselves Bible Christians... A Bible they have little to no understanding of the spiritual and material truth! A conversation with the Magistrate Court Judge at the U.S. Post Office at one time, it was reported, alleged that he said, "Martha is her own woman. I cannot tell her anything. I am sorry she said what she said about you." This was in relation to what was alleged to have been her so-called 'back-biting' of and about clergy who had been living in the area for some time due to their being TORCHED out of their Deming residence in March 2007 by those whom it was further alleged, from the LIBERTY PRESS who incited others to do harms which, if brought to justice, would involve attempted murder charges and other charges against clergy that normally would require an automatic prison sentence for the one(s) who did the torching and those who incited the act(s), so it has been reported. Of the Magistrate Court, it was reported that he said, "I cannot apologize for her, but I do apologize for the pain and suffering you and your people have experienced as a result of her!" May it be noted that the "Skinner Realty" is now called "Puerta Realty" but, as another individual alleged, "She still runs it behind the scenes. She should have been called 'Combat Mama'". It would seem that her politics, integrity and honesty may be in question?
Often times it has been said, "Do away with religion and politicians and the world would be a better place to live in," or, "Without religions and politics, the world would be better off". Such ideas and statements are without consideration because where ever there are people or persons, there will be communications. When communication exist between any person or people with others, there is the "Politics" of man because ideas, thoughts even inventions are brought about. That is, to say the least, POLITICS! The politics of promoting personal agendas! The POLITICS of making one's INVENTION known and used is POLITICAL and is therefore POLITICS! The need to create a defense of one's homeland is POLITICAL and therefore POLITICS! Who ever it may be in power, holds sway over the politics of the times if one is either a Mayor, Governor, or even the President of the United States.
As for "RELIGION" - many religions have always existed from the time man first walked the face of the earth! There is no escaping RELIGION. There is no such thing as a true ATHEIST. For if there was or is, then the person who calls him or herself an ATHEIST believes neither in the existence of GOD or any supreme being and therefore will NOT help any one person or individual when that person or individual is in trouble or in need of a helping hand. Even a creature is not helped by the ATHEIST whatsoever if they are a true ATHEIST! Yet, when the hand is offered by a so-called ATHEIST to a creature or a person to help them; the individual, by action alone, displays his or her belief in the life-force and existence of a creator, or at least, a supreme being!
The very word RELIGION comes from the Latin root word "RELIGARE" which means to "Unite with God!" Thus the ATHEIST, by action alone unites with GOD by with holding his or her helping hand from another (even his or her blood relations). And when a helping hand is offered or extended, there the so-called ATHEIST shows by action their belief in the human condition, the human spirit, the creator of all and is therefore not a true ATHEIST in spirit and truth! There is no escaping this for it has been true from the time man and woman first walked the earth!
The understandings of historical truth that have come down to us through time and history must be understood first in order to get past the ignorance of people in general and those who are "backwoods" and uneducated (even the educated) who fail and refuse to be educated in both spirit and truth! Usually these are more the types that have come from the backwoods of Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, Georgia, Louisiana, Florida and several other states where they often times make their own self-styled ministers; or a person declares himself something that s/he is not in spirit and truth! Thus, not being of the Root, Ground and Base of the CHRISTIAN CHURCH! This is more a cultic "denominational" practice as exampled by the antics of the Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormons), Jehovah's Witnesses, Pentecostal, Church of Christ and numerous others most especially these days of those who consider themselves "non-denominational" (an oxymoron word for Synchrestic Ecumenism! They are actually very denominational by their upbringing and training. Yet, these Non-Denominational churches, especially "Community" churches have personal agendas and most of the time it is Mammon! Many who do the so-called 'preaching' own their church property and are more for 'making' money than bringing true spiritual words of wisdom to the people they minister to. Many of the entertainments are more the drawing force under a false and heretical disguise of being WORSHIP! Hand clapping, dancing more than usual, instruments of all kinds, bands playing and worse things take place with bible thumpers prancing around as though they have the Grace of God in and with them when, in fact, they have unknowing to even themselves, have the devil (Satan) in and with them because of their departure from those beliefs and actions which were and are handed down through time and history to us as being true Worship, Praise and Prayer in spirit and truth! Many of these characters call themselves "Bishop" which means "Apostle" as being in the line of succession of the Apostles which is blatant spiritual and even material fraud! God will not be mocked! Yet, those kinds of described "churches" - for most (but not all) of them; are under the spiritual leadership of the Anti-christ which they cannot fathom yet mouth words as though they can or do speak for and as an Apostle of Jesus Christ's! Remember What Jesus said about those who will be judged.... The fraudulent 'apostle' says, "Did I not proclaim in your name..." and Jesus Christ says "I know you not" etc.
The problem with most or many of today's people (society in general) is that they do not want to read any more than they have to because they more and more lack the patience to concentrate and hold their concentration without being distracted by the ENTERTAINMENTS on-going around them or the hurly-burly rush here and rush there... Often times, more than not, it is a lazy attitude in the individual who is a "Cafeteria" type of human, for most this is actually "Cafeteria Christianity" who prefer ignorance and falsehood (unbeknownst to themselves even) than FACT, TRUTH and doing one's own research and learning whether or not they have it right! This too involves "communication"... often preferring an entertainment type of communication which is pretty much the attitude of what is termed as a society with an ENTERTAINMENT MENTALITY! No wonder there are many who suffer from learning disabilities, more the result of parents who fail and refuse to correct their own because they, themselves, have allowed themselves to become ignorant of many things without taking the time to learn TRUTH and historical FACT!
These definitions are simplified explanations and not necessarily the total sum and substance of all things relating to the content issue raised!
Not all people or persons necessarily worship the same God! No matter what name one's GOD may be... people do not worship the same God when the belief in that God is different from that of another! Theology therefore, being the understanding gained and the learning experience from time immemorial; creates or has created the belief system accepted by groups. Yet, not all groups worship and believe in the same God because such a belief is not necessarily in accord with that of another. Therefore not all people, not all religions, not all denominations worship the same God! NOTE: These brief explanations are provided only as a short rendition of such to describe and define RELIGION and the differences between one and another!
Thus, for the Christian or so-called Christian; not all denominations necessarily worship the same God even though the name for God may be for them, JESUS CHRIST, yet the belief in and practice of that belief may vary from group (denomination) to that of another group. The Orthodox Catholic Church, known as Eastern Orthodoxy, is the CHRISTIAN RELIGION, and is not a denomination because it is the root, ground and base of all things CHRISTIAN as taught by JESUS CHRIST to His Holy Apostles; from which the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Jurisdiction schismed (separated) [Officially: 1054 A.D.] and hence from the Roman Jurisdiction often referred to as the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, Protestantism came about by many and numerous fractures and schisms. Thus, the theologies of them are not in spirit and in truth of the same as the other and as a result, there exist a difference which shows they do not necessarily worship the same God even though using the same or similar name of God!
Even though the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church has been held to be one with Orthodoxy; it is not! It is a bastardization of being truly CATHOLIC in spirit and truth for the schism by the Roman Jurisdiction was brought about because of their reinvention of CATHOLICISM from the root, ground and base of what is today called and known as Eastern Orthodoxy or ORTHODOX CATHOLIC CHRISTIANITY (ie: Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Ukrainian Orthodox, American Orthodox, etc.) Any group under the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church, especially those known and called "Uniates" (being ORTHODOX in appearance is still a Roman and thus not truly ORTHODOX CATHOLIC but of the Roman Jurisdiction only)! There is little to no semblance, except in appearance, of liturgical practice and clergy dress which comes close to being ORTHODOX! The spirit of the Jurisdiction is the key. The Uniates are similar as those of the Protestants only to the extent that the Uniates honor and believe in all things taught and preached by the ROMAN (Latin) Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church, but not being one in spirit or in truth with ORTHODOX CATHOLICISM as it has always breathed and maintained from the times of the Holy Apostles to the present!
There was a time when the dominating religion in Luna County was once the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church. But they have lost hundreds and more parishioners, who once dominated not only this but many other areas ever since Vatican II and the Sex Scandals that (for most of those clergy) did not involve the SEALS OF THE CONFESSIONAL; their clergy (as has been their modus operandi) become more arrogant and elitist where there is no other "Catholic" except a Roman Catholic. Their arrogance and elitism flows into their having, for centuries re-written history as a means for mass psychological manipulation of society itself. The Roman Church is just another "Jurisdiction" of the "Catholic" Church which started with the ground, base and root of CHRISTIANITY itself that was and IS established in Orthodoxy (Orthodox Catholic which is known by nationalistic names). However, to offset the Orthodox Churches, the Roman Jurisdiction in centuries past, established their "Uniate" churches where those who are "Uniate" appear as being 'Orthodox Catholic' but are under the Roman thumb and must accept all that the Roman Jurisdiction accepts theologically and dogmatically, except in liturgical practices. As said, the Uniates are not true Orthodox Catholic Christian clergy whatsoever!
Of course because of the overthrow of the Spanish Monarchy in Mexico several hundred years ago, the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church is still the predominate religion in that country even though the clergy are, or have been, forbidden from walking off the church owned land where their parish or church is located while wearing clergy clothes or anything depicting them as being "clergy". That was because of the Spanish monarchy, the nobility, were supported by the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church in Mexico. When the Spanish Nobility were over-thrown ousted from Mexico, so the laws that came about were not favorable to the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church.
When various Mexican people and families immigrated to the United States of America, both legally and far many more illegally; they began to leave the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church and going to many Protestant Churches, especially many of the Protestant Cultic churches which dominate Luna County, New Mexico. If one is true to their so-called belief and practice of CHRISTIANITY (follower of Jesus Christ, they must obey the laws of the land they go into which the illegal immigrant does not and therefore is not truly CHRISTIAN either materially and spiritually, having followed the leader, Satan of the Anti-Christian churches!).
Those Protestant Cultic churches are made up mostly of self-ordained preachers and ministers. This includes the Church of Latter Day Saints known as Mormons! The Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church have pretty much lost a toe hold in Luna County but are given "lip service" even with its having, as led by its Pope (Bishop of Rome) into further heretical theologies never before accepted by true Orthodox Catholic Christian Jurisdictions. The politics and money of the Roman Jurisdiction is vast and thus their largess-ness will not be challenged by local authorities or politicians.
The Village of Columbus has a Roman Parish and has a larger following in a local Protestant Cult, so-called "Community Church," and a few others. There is one "Pentecostal" family church in the Village whose husband and wife are truly dear hearts even though their theology is heretical to all that is contained in the true Christian Church which is that of the Orthodox Catholic Christian Jurisdictions. There is another small husband and wife church group who are "Baptist" but few in number. Have to admit that those two families of ministers are honorable and with their sincerity of spirit, believe the heretical theologies they operate by. All the others, for the most part are a part of the corruption on-going in the village of Columbus, New Mexico - and are become more for mammon; riding to horses and serving two master! Personal agendas included!
The Village of Columbus' city hall has within it a mayor whose election is due to his connections and those connections with families of Latin American (primarily "Mexican") who had a lot to do with what Clare May had been fighting against in previous times; being the corruption on-going, the connections with drug cartels and illegal immigration, smuggling, etc.
Even one of the people in the offices who used to (may be still does) write grants for the Village of Columbus, NM is alleged to be a cultic individual with associations to those who have been publishing the LIBERTY PRESS, who it was reported and alleged is a practitioner and teacher of Witchcraft. They cannot tell truth, are incapable and unable to seek verification of things appropriately but follow a "Witch" or "Pagan" approach which a local well educated American Indian said of them as being "Forked Tongued" people, "I know them well," he said. He and his wife (both members by birth and blood to an American Indian Tribe) say that not all who claim themselves as "American Indian" (while being part blood-related, do not actually practice the "INDIAN" ways or they would speak a truth that befits the AMERICAN INDIAN cultures. But they, as said by our true born, well educated and raised AMERICAN INDIAN friends, say of the others (such as one who works in the Mayor's Office and her cohorts who operate the LIBERTY PRESS) as being "forked tongue" and are types who will tell you one thing to your face while doing something else behind your back... which is to figuratively stab you in the back! That is not only a perversion but a form of corruption that exist in the Village and in Luna County in general, more especially by the Luna County Commissioners and those under them! This idea and attitude holds true for many a Pseudo-Christian these days, especially many who falsely think of themselves as being "Bible Christian" or "Born Again" who don't realize they have, in fact, blasphemed the Holy Spirit ... and thus they are not truly CHRISTIAN (follower of Jesus Christ) in either spirit or in Truth (living, practicing and believing) for they have perverted those things to suite their own agendas with intention; making of themselves "Cafeteria" christian, an Anti-Christ-ian even though most of them are wholly or totally unaware themselves of what they do and believe!
Yes Luna (or Looney) County is the hot bed and seat of corruption as even the Albuquerque Journal had reported in 2007-2008 of this county as being at the top of the list of the most corrupt counties in New Mexico. What does that make of the present Governor?
